What Would I Say
If I could talk to Bilbo right now, I probably would tell him to keep on moving towards the exit of the forest. He seems pretty discouraged that he can't see the end of the forest, but that's because he's in a valley, and that if he wasn't, he would probably be able to see the exit. That would probably motivate him to get him and his group to the exit. Anything else I could say wouldn't be that much help to him so that's it.

I like the way you said you If you talk to Bilbo, it really gives you a sense of what you are thinking in a creative way. I agree that you explained what happened when they went of the path. I agree that if he could see the exit it would motivate him.
