Conflict in The Hobbit (Carson H)

So, The Hobbit has a very interesting conflict. I personally think that it's Man VS Nature because it is Bilbo and the 14 dwarves versus the dragon (Smaug). Some events that have complicated this are the goblins fighting the dwarves and Bilbo trying to escape from Gollum (a creature living in a mountain). These conflicts can make the story seem like it is Man VS Man, but the main issue is still the dwarves trying to retrieve their gold from Smaug.

I think the characters will not solve the conflict without causing more harm. While getting to where they currently are, they have already a) angered trolls, b) angered goblins, c) angered Gollum, and d) probably started more problems along the way. Man VS Nature also works here because the team has had to face countless other forces of nature that try to get in their way. Along the mountains, they had to avoid rocks and stay on the path, for instance.
