Man Versus Nature: The Hobbit's Conflict

          The dwarves and Biblo are constantly battling strange elements of nature.  A group of trolls wanted to eat them.  They have faced battling thunderstorms in the mountains.  On account of these storms, they took shelter in a cave.  Once in the cave, they were viciously attacked by goblins.  During this violent encounter, Bilbo was separated from the others,  He faced yet another scare when he was in a riddle battle with Gollum.  After the dwarves and Bilbo reunited outside of the mountain, a landslide with huge boulders nearly killed them.  Even after this, they were almost eaten by Wargs.  The main characters of The Hobbit are constantly battling peculiar parts of nature.
